Art occurs as comedic play by Yasmina Reza. A plot concerns deuce-ace men, Yvan, Marc & Serge. the play begins whenever Serge buys a modernist painting for two hundred thousand francs. the painting consists of occasionally whiten lines in a white background. Marc resents a fact that Serge spent such money in what he refers to when "white shit", when Yvan flip-flops between Marc & Serge's opinions (his non-committal attitude costs him dearly late in the play whilst he has to offer his convoluted, compromised learn from to the more 2).

A play consists foremost of duologues between two of the triplet characters, followed by an extended scene inside Serge's flat, which dominates a play.
